Melanie wrote: I used to have panic attacks the night before sitting my exams, and occasionally even during. I knew I was capable of producing good results, but I kept letting my exam anxiety get the best of me. In just a couple of sessions, I was able to get to the root of the problem and tackle it head on. I can now say, with confidence, that I am a great deal more relaxed and comfortable with exams.  In fact, I have surprisingly found myself looking forward to an exam or two – something I never thought I’d say! ”

As a senior HR Director managing rapid acquisitive growth , I needed professional support from a highly qualified executive coach. CLS coach Louise Stadden has worked with me for three years. In that time I have developed coping strategies to enable me to step back and take an holistic approach to managing change. Frankly I would not have led the magnitude of change and created a great team without the level of professional coaching I have received!

I wanted to let you know that the session I had with you definitely helped.  We put the sails up the first day but there wasn’t much wind.   The following day when we sailed across to Ithaca, I am reliably informed it was blowing a force 4 on the beam, so James didn’t push it and we motored.  The wind was much more settled for the next few days and James was able to increase our sailing time and using the methods you taught me I was a lot better than I’ve ever been (see attached photos!).

In fact I took the photo of James from the bow, which is something I would never have had the confidence to do before.

Many thanks once again for your help.

I absolutely have you to thank as it is clear to see that I probably wouldn't have done very well without your help. You helped me to re-wire my mind and change the way that I think about things. I feel unstoppable at the moment, I feel happier in myself, calmer and more in control of everything.

I was so sure that I failed as soon as I completed the exam, but pretty much burst into tears of happiness when my assessors informed me that I have passed. I went into the exam feeling prepared and calm, the nerves were a normal stage and  I was wanting to just get it all done with. Even my assessors noticed that I have calmed right down and I'm not so hysterical

Once we had our very first session, it was then that I realised that I had other anxieties as well as exams. Even though I have a very happy life I somehow created a side that only thought negatively about myself and everything I did. There is a huge weight that has been lifted now.
I really cannot thank you enough :) I finally feel that I am the person I want to be.
If I ever come across anyone with this type of problem, I will tell them how you helped me and would recommend you to anyone 😊

Thank you again for everything

Steve wroteHaving had so many private and NHS therapy sessions the professional courteous and caring assistance I have received has been phenomenal! In all honesty, I approached this with mild cynicism having been made so many promises by others before, but how wrong was I? Louise put in the thought and effort to direct me back into the real world and away from the well trodden and so comfortable path of self pity and hopelessness.

The pace was perfect and the content and advice were both right on the money. It was not easy but I made progress and most importantly felt good and positive for the first time in so long. There were a few ups and downs (all expected and dealt with perfectly by her) and the faith shown by Louise in me was truly the key to unlocking my future. My theraputic assistance culminated in an amazing session where so many demons were slain and so much rubbish and baggage was consigned to the past

Annabel wroteI would like to thank you for all your help in rediscovering the “real me”. I had been carrying hurt, vulnerability and abandonment throughout my life and had so many repressed memories. Only now, with your help, understanding and healing strategies have I discovered the real me. I feel alive and so positive I could take on anything life has to throw at me, quite a different person to the one when we first met!

During our time together you gave me direct experience of how my own perceptions determine how I viewed an event, rather than observing what actually happened. I now have the ability to look at this in a constructive way, whilst using the strategies you taught me to see the positive in every situation.

I will certainly use you again as the impact and difference just with one session has been remarkable, I would have no hesitation in advising friends, family and associates to pay you a visit.

John wroteThe mild scepticism which attended me when I went to see Louise was quickly dispelled when we sat down in her studio and began to talk. Anxieties which had been a dominant feature of my life were quickly shown to be of either minor or no consequence. A two hour session in very congenial surroundings, which included much sympathy and good advice, just flashed by. Now, some weeks after our meeting I can say confidently that I derived considerable and lasting benefit from it.

Debbie wroteI initially went to see Louise as I have always has trouble sleeping & didn’t know what to try next. Since talking to her and following her advice my sleep pattern has improved significantly. Although I do occasionally wake during the night I am now able to go back to sleep which I found very difficult before.I found my session with Louise very useful and very worthwhile and I would certainly recommend anyone to contact her who has a problem sleeping.

Karen wroteDear Louise, I just wanted to say a huge thank you for helping my family. The difference that you have made to Samantha is amazing, so many people have commented on how positive and up-beat she is, she even looks different, happy and glowing!I also wanted to say thank you for helping my nephew Michael, I know that his visit to you and ongoing contact has helped him immensely. He has a huge mountain to climb, but your presence in his life at this time has been a godsend!

Having been unexpectedly offered the opportunity to move from being part of a global business unit to suddenly leading it, I found myself in urgent need to develop a whole raft of skills in a variety of areas I felt very inexperienced in. A giant leap was careering towards me and my trepidation was palpable.

And this, perhaps above all the techniques, analysis and interventions that characterised my journey with Louise, is where her expertise shines. She has a gift for simply clearing the decks, dispelling assumptions and systematically getting to the core of each barrier to change. My mindset has changed, I have different aspirations, I feel I understand my capabilities and Louise has been central to helping me achieve this goal. It has not always been straight forward but I am hugely grateful. She is one of those inspirational people you never forget.

Justin wrote: I just wanted to write and tell you how well my best mans speech went on Friday.

Whilst I was a little nervous in the build up and drinks reception on the day...as soon as I was seated and the other speeches were taking place I had very little in the way of nerves and was more buzzing with energy. I had to remind myself to breath a few times as I was holding my breath! But other than that I was fine.

My old man who loves public speaking did a couple of readings at the wedding ceremony and my uncle who is an actor did a reading and both set the standard. My brother then delivered a very confident speech (I thought) but people said you could sense a few nerves from him at the beginning.

So the standard had been set! And I was determined not to be out shined...

Well I stood up, took off my jacket, turned around and by all accounts "nailed it"! Ad libbing in parts...people couldn't believe it. Not even a sign of nerves when I got up apparently.

My Aunty who is also an actor and knows me well just could not believe how well I had done.

Not a dry eye in the house when I finished and I made it through the heart felt comments at the end and only had to stop once to take a few breaths...that was probably what set everyone off!

So Louise, I wanted to write to you and thank you for all your help and support... It made a huge difference! I really can't thank you enough and, yes...I thoroughly enjoyed it!

I should also mention that the bit of the speech I rehearsed most in my mind was the feeling of it having gone well when I sat down at the end.
It was very spooky….it happened just as I thought. But not only that…everyone sat at the head table was sat exactly as I had imagined them… without me even seeing a seating plan! I’m sorry but I cant explain that!!

I hope to be able to work with you again.

James wroteI don't know if you remember me but you had two sessions with my son Matthew about a year ago to help prepare him for his vet medicine university interviews.

Matthew applied to four Uni's. He was offered interviews at three out of four. All three who interviewed offered him a place. He started at Nottingham a couple of weeks ago after turning down Liverpool and the Royal Vet Collage.  I am convinced that you helped him secure those offers. Thank you.

Katherine wroteI have always wanted to swim, but as a result of various incidents as a child and in my youth, I developed a deep psychological barrier between me and the water. I am not scared of the water - it wasn't as simple as that. Having spent the last 15 years trying many different approaches to overcome the obstacles that my mind throws up when I get in the pool, I had reached a point of considerable frustration beyond which I could not pass. The obstacles that were happening in my mind were constantly shifting and changing. Louise was recommended to me as someone who could get me through to where I wanted to be and after one short 'dry' session with her and then, two sessions in the pool, I was able to swim on my own. I now go swimming on my own and manage several lengths and thoroughly enjoy myself.

Sue wroteI would like to thank you so much for helping my son Ben with his fear of dogs.  I was utterly amazed when he appeared from his session standing next to and stroking your lively dog!  He looked totally relaxed, something I never thought I'd see.  He was very pleased with himself too and said that he never thought he would be able to get so close to a dog. I'm sure you've helped him enormously with his confidence too as I've seen the happy, jokey Ben again, a side that I hadn't seen for a while.

I wouldn't hesitate in recommending your services to family and friends.

James wroteAfter seeing 3 other therapists & still having my anxiety problem i was feeling quite negative about seeing Louise, but i feel it was well worth it, Louise has improved my life massively i can now do things & enjoy doing them instead of doing them & have panic attacks. Louise has set me free. Thank you so much i shall have no problem referring her to any of my friends or family.

Clare wroteLouise has this amazing knack of making the confusing crystal clear. I went to her with a head full of career worries and came away feeling that anything and everything is possible

Amanda wroteThank you very much for this and our session. I feel that you helped me achieve so much and I just feel ‘different’, calmer. I am actually looking forward to the challenge of next week. I will work with the tools that you have given me and see where I go and I will certainly be in touch if we need to look at anything else.

Sergio wroteMy coaching has been like an oasis in the middle of the storm/desert. It forces me to articulate ideas that are deep in the back of my mind. I find the questions that are asked of me interesting and illuminating. Completing the questionaire in advance of the session is an invaluable process for me to gain the maximum benefit from the coaching.

Juliet wroteYou treated me over a year ago for spider phobia, it has been so useful, I touched a small one yesterday and my daughter who was on the verge of catching my phobia pre-treatment now catches them in her hands and sets them outside- having seen me overcome my fear!

Paul wroteWorking with Louise is a very positive self-learning experience, it is challenging and thought provoking, but most of all hugely enjoyable.

Louise has helped lift my confidence, be more assured of my own abilities and shift the baggage that was clouding my thoughts.

James wroteIt had been several years since I last spoke at a conference, so in order to prepare for a presentation to a large body of peers from industry, I visited Louise for a session covering building confidence, speaking in public and how to approach this sort of event with a different and more positive mind-set. The session was very helpful and I felt more prepared and more relaxed standing up to present to a large group of people. The event was very well received and I am looking forward to similar opportunities in future, assisted by the methods and practices I absorbed during the session.
